This manipulative will help students to:
Define and investigate the relationship between length and volume of similar figures.
Define and investigate the relationship between centimeters cubed and milliliters.
The tray would best be printed with flexible material, the negative space can be filled with water and frozen. (Alternatively students can fill negative space with measured amounts of water).
The shapes are available to print to allow students the opportunity to measure with a ruler.
