Rear lens cap for Vivitar / Soligor interchangeable-mount lenses, for use when a mount is not fitted. This is the short version for telephoto lenses that do not have a protruding rear element. It works with Vivitar TX and T4 lenses, and Soligor T4 lenses.
This is version 2, modified into a two-piece design. The original one-piece version tended to wobble on a surface if the base of the lens cap wasn't perfectly flat. Now the smaller piece fits inside and needs to be glued in. The hole in the larger piece then forms a central recess in the base, so it sits more steadily on a surface.
