This is a case for the Vim 3 embedded board by Khadas.
It has support for:
direct m.2 NVMe.
slipped onto a threaded rod (m3 or #6-32) if you have to maintain the node in the middle of the cluster.
holes for m3 threaded insert on the bottom case (https://www.amazon.ca/Uxcell-a16041800ux0824-Knurled-Threaded-Embedment/dp/B01IYWTCWW/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=m3+insert&qid=1575953330&sr=8-5)
recessed hole for m3 or #6-32 cap head machine screws on the top (10mm screw are long enough to work with the insert)
Assembly
cut 4 pieces of 1cm metal wire ( ~ 1 mm thickness, a small paperclip is perfect for that)
insert the 4 pieces into the holes on the bottom case
the board will hold inside the case as is and a rubber band is enough to hold the lid close while you wait for m3 screws or other fasteners.
Printing
maximum nozzle size is 0.6 mm
minimum print quality resolution 0.1 mm (normal quality in cura).
use a brim
no support
Cleanup
be careful around the buttons as they are fragile a bit without the board inside to prevent to much play.
make sure the fan holes are clean.
make sure to break off the bridges bellow the nvme spring so that it moves a bit.
future work
rack mount for the threaded rod
and spring holders between nodes
