This is a set of panels I made for a Commodore VIC-20 which I wanted to convert to house a Raspberry Pi. For the panels; when one holds hold a cable or something else, I have also included a blank panel. The Autodesk 123Design file is included as well.
I printed the panels with PLA and attached them to the case with Gorilla Glue, it works well and they are removeable with a little effort. Put a thin layer of glue on both sides and let it dry, then add a little more glue and press the pieces together.
I used an Arduino Pro Micro to read the keyboard and convert it to USB. This particular build can act as a stand alone usb keyboard or you can power up the internal Raspberry Pi and have a Linux desktop computer. The cables were found on eBay.
(edit 10/31/2017) I have uploaded an Eagle schematic and board, plus a pdf diagram for the Arduino keyboard interface. The hex file is to flash an Arduino compatible 5 volt 16 MHz Pro Micro. Holding down the Commodore Restore key during the Pro Micro boot or reset will disable the keyboard interface and allow access to the Arduino bootloader.
