Since my neighbours complained that my printer made to much noise I decideed to make some noise/vibration dampeners for it. Small vibrations through a concrete building you know ;)
Unfortunately i couldn't find any squash balls at my local sport store, so I bought some tennis balls insted. Squash balls would only have given the printer a lower profile so it didn't matter.
I designed a few different models that would fit on my aluminium extrusions snuggly so that i wouldn't need to screw it on.
There is three models for this, 20mm, 30mm and 40mm, that can be used for this.
The 2040 model will fit in an intersection between one 20mm and one 40mm extrusion. Like on the Tevo tarantula under the Y gantry.
I also made a model with M4 and one with M5 (socket head screws) hole if someone wanted to screw it on anyways.
Since i printed these my neighbours haven't heard my printer at all, so happy times for all. This also means that the noise in the apartment was lowered a LOT!
