Versaitle Vice ( Versa-Vice or Vice-Versa) uses a 1/4 inch x 20 carriage bolt for the lead screw. A 1/4 nut is pressed and heat welded into the moving jaw. Two nuts, tightened together to jam each other, and a washer go on the end of the carriage bolt sticking out of the vise base to secure the lead screw. The head of the carriage bolt lead screw fits down inside the knob. The knob has a square shaped recess that the carriage bolt fits down into and locks it.
There are several jaws that can be printed. The ones shown here will grip printed circuit boards of most any shape. Several jaws grip round objects either vertically or horizontally. Two of the jaws will grip round objects on the inside or outside perimeter.
