This is a versatile dividing Head with an indexing attachment. Designed by G.H. Thomas. I modeled this to check mating the two worm drives. If you turn the graduated knob the worm turns the first whel which in turn rotates the second worm that then turns the second wheel. The ratio is 60:1 which means the worm has to do 60 revolutions to turn the wheel one full turn.
