Vanguard VT-726 Quick Release Plate by ntc490

Lost the quick-release plate for my Vanguard tripod. Created this replacement. This part has been successfully printed and works okay. Purchase a brass pan head slotted machine screw from Lowes to complete the part. 1/4-20 x 3/4". See part 08236 71978 9.
Looks like I could have exposed more threads of the screw for a secure connection to the camera. LMK if you need that modification. I may publish an update later.
You may want to use tool dip or something similar on the top of the plate to make your camera mount more firmly in place.
It would be cool to combine this with a Samsung S4 camera mount for a custom quick-release plate. Drop me a note if you get to it before I can. :)
