Vacuum outlet diffuser for 2.25in (~58mm) vacuum outlet to redirect air flow and minimize debris being kicked up by the vacuum outlet. This diffuser will not effect the sound of the vacuum, and is not a sound dampener. This diffuser did not appear to reduce the vacuum inlet pressure.
A project to learn how to use OpenSCAD. Not as fancy as this ShopVac Diffuser but seems to work just fine. The fit in my vacuum is not snug, but it does not shoot out when the vacuum is on. A wrap of tape would probably give it a snug fit if that is needed. A filter mesh could probably be fitted inside if that was needed.
