V3.0
Description
This is the box Version 3.0 of the Ramps + Arduino Mega 2560 / Re-Arm + LCD 2004 RRD / GLCD + Raspberry pi 3
This box was designed for Scalar Family 3D printers.
it will fit 3030 aluminum extrusions and 2020 depending on what part you are printing.
Each part of the box is a separate plastic part.
Print one of each (no special settings required)
Each part can be screwed together using M3x8 screws. Thermoplastic screws are well fit for this kind of application.
Compatibility
This box is compatible with :
Ramps 1.4
Arduino Mega 2560 or Re-Arm 32Bits
RRD LCD2004
RRD GLCD
80mm / 60mm fan
Raspberry pi 2 / 3
What to Print
Print one of each Stl file and you are ready to go
The naming of each part can tell you if it will fit for 2020 or for 3030 extrusion.
If it's not in the name description then you can print it no matter what extrusion profile you are using.
For 2020 extrusion profiles you need:
Ramps_Box_1.4_Left_Grid.stl
Ramps_Box_1.4_Right_RPI3.stl
Ramps_Box_1.4_Top_RPI3.stl
Ramps_Box_1.4_PT100-60mm-Fan.stl
Scalar - ElectronicBox_LCD - Markings.stl
Ramps_Box_1.4_Base_V2_2020_RPI3.stl
-Ramps_Box_1.4_Bottom_2020.stl
For 3030 extrusions you need
Ramps_Box_1.4_Left_Grid.stl
Ramps_Box_1.4_Right_RPI3.stl
Ramps_Box_1.4_Top_RPI3.stl
Ramps_Box_1.4_PT100-60mm-Fan.stl
Scalar - ElectronicBox_LCD - Markings.stl
Ramps_Box_1.4_Base_V2_RPI3.stl
Ramps_Box_1.4_Bottom.stl
Updates
2018.03.05 - Added Back plate (V2) for 60mm fan + PT100 => changed some holes in order to use thermo screws instead of screws+nuts to attach the 60mm fan.
2017.08.13 - Added some contextual pictures of the box + electronic parts
2017.08.07 - Uploaded missing Bottom parts (both for 3030 and 2020 extrusions)
2017.08.03 : Original post

A top cover for MKS TFT2.8 Touch screen is now available here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2196704
(Thanks to http://www.thingiverse.com/warlock4890) Ramps 1.4 Box Side with CAT5 connectors http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1525809
Special notes:
Use Thermoplastic screws (M3x8 are great)
You can glue each side on the base, it will increased the box rigidity.
There are 2 holes available at the bottom of Ramps_Box_1.4_Bottom.stl. (check which version to print 2020 or 3030)
These holes are dedicated to help you glue this part to the base part:
Glue the parts together, insert 2 screws, wait a little bit and remove these screws.
f you don't remove these screws after gluing the parts together, the screws will prevent you from properly placing the box on top of the extrusion profile.
This package is compatible with the Scalar Family 3D Printers (Scalar M , Scalar L, Scalar XL, Scalar XLPremium)
