This is a slide rule we designed (one piece is the outer holder and the other is the inner slider). It is blank, of course, and requires a label to be completed; our design was based on the Scientific American paper slide rule and was scaled so that the SA rule would fit if printed on 8.5x11" paper sized labels and cut out (although that's a big waste of label paper). The SA rule can be found at https://www.scientificamerican.com/media/pdf/Slide_rule.pdf but this version does not have a "cursor" as currently designed.
After printing, we found that this item will warp somewhat with the cheaper materials, and that the inner slider piece is going to fit a bit too firmly in the outer piece to actually slide, so despite our best work at adjusting the sizes, the best fix was to do a bit of sanding of the inner slider piece.
