So this is my remix of the Uriels Gift gun stock that Hassaracker did.
Things that have changed, I went through all the design, looked at places I thought could use improvement for strength, fitment and other.
The bump pad on the stock is now screwed into the stock, this way if you want to print in a TPU or flexible filament with low infill it would be soft. Second reason, it covers a hole that goes through the stock, stock extension and ends in the receiver assembly just above the grip, this hole will fit a 3/8" alum rod, I'm going to glue it in for extra strength in the stock assembly.
Receiver front and grip parts now have tabs/groves to help align and also give more surface area to glue the pieces together, also on the thin pieces above the forward grip I have installed alignment pins on the barrel to front lower receiver.......personally I wouldn't glue these as there is bolts to fasten those two parts together (if you glue it together you will never get the actual gun in or out of the stock)
The upper receiver/scope mount, I had tons of issues trying to get it to print in one piece, the long layout, lots of supports needed caused multiple print failures before I cut it up into 4 smaller pieces, if you can print it in one piece would be great, if not print the 4 pieces (most likely not needing any support) and glue together.
Barrel pieces, since my printer is larger I took the 3 pieces and made them two with an alignment plug, the middle barrel piece has a smaller barrel hole than the front (wanted to keep the front a large hole so it wouldn't loose the style) but the middle one has a tight hole for the barrel, most likely you will need to file/drill it out. The reason I made this tight is because I want the barrel to be snug in the stock at that point, especially since the forward bolt locations for the upper receiver/scope mount attaches close to there as well. I didn't want the barrel to be moving around in a large hole, accuracy of the scope would be affected.
Currently I've printed all but the upper receiver/scope mount, assembly is going well, working on getting the Ruger ready for installation (have to remove camo paint from receiver/barrel and re-blue) will post pics of the assembly shortly.
Update 08/30/2020
Finished printing the parts, made some adjustments to the files, please download again.
Changes, I must have mis-measured something and the front part of the stock is 30mm too short and the barrel protrudes from the stock, I've adjusted the BarrelTip file to account for this, I've also made a extension piece in case you want to make it longer.
Also the MiddleBarrel piece was 2mm too narrow to allow the piece to slide down the barrel, I knew it was going to be wrong but until I could get the parts into the stock it was hard to get an accurate measurement where on the barrel this piece would end up, so I've adjusted the hole and it should be nice and snug now, maybe some light filling, not like I had to do.
Now to smooth and paint the stock and refinish the gun as it was a camo finish before.
One last thing, in my photo's of my build you will see a big crack in the grip, printing this part was very difficult as the ABS-pro wanted to shrink and wrap even with a heated enclosure and heat bed and everything done proper..........it was a nightmare and touch and go to get it done, I hope you have better luck than I.
Update 09/27/2020
Painting and assembly is completed, I need new taller scope rings and replace two hex bolts with SHCS, but other than that it came out alright..........of course there would be things I'd do differently again, but it looks good and should perform well.
If I look at the files again there will be updates coming, things I want to change or improve but it does work the way it is.
Have fun with this one and happy printing.
Update 09/30/2020
I edited and modified the top rail scope again, this time I added through bolts into the stock 10-22 scope mount bolt holes in the receiver. I also removed the 3D printed scope rail as it doesn't match standard gun rails, so you'll need a scope rail to mount to the top, this will greatly improve scope stability and strength, I'm also adding an AR style top mounted carry handle with my scope mounted on top that (you will find that low mount scope rings are too low with the design of the stock)
I'll get updated photos up when I complete the print and finish the part.
