University Project: Salad Dryer

This was a salad dryer I designed for a short profject at Loughborough University during my MA Industrial Design course.
It uses piezoceramic actuators to cause a tumbling effect within the salad bowl and a UV light to help reduce bacteria within the salad. There is also a cyclone to buffet any loose droplet off the leaves and remove them from the bowl.
Totally over the top, but that was kind of the brief.
