UPDATE!
I made case that allowed me to convert the Baofeng 5 base charger to a portable / dash mounted charger using this mount. The link to it is here:

This is a really simple handheld radio and mic mount for a dashboard, wall, or any vertical surface. It uses the belt clip on handheld radios and should work on many different things that use a belt clip. If needed, you can rescale it to fit the clip you want to use and mount.
I also provided a 3mm spacer and +/- angle spacers (2.5D increments up to 15D) to adjust vertical mounting. Recommend using 3M double sided tape to mount, but I included some small screw holes if that doesn't work.
So far it works with:
Baofeng 5
Baofeng 8
Baofeng microphone
Midland 75-822
Cobra microtalk
