Included in this file are unified Steel Hex Head Thread-Cutting Screws for Metal from source McMaster-Carr. Single SolidWorks part contains multiple configurations as listed below. Features mate reference for quick drag & drop coincident mating during assembly. Add as a library part. Edits can be made through the design table, equation manager and/or custom properties. Many items in the custom properties are derived from my internal usage on BOMs and PDM/PLM. “MP” numbers are my internal part numbers for sourcing. Many of the custom properties are handled through the design table so check there first. Step files also included.

Description (McMaster-Carr):
These steel screws are zinc plated to resist corrosion in wet environments. They have a hex head for a secure grip with a wrench and a flange to reduce the risk of crushing thin metal. Screws cut threads in drilled holes as they’re turned, so they require less driving torque and cause less stress on your material than thread forming screws. Length is measured from under the flange. Head height includes the flange.
