Unifi UVC G3 Lens Extender (Ubiquiti)

After having much success with a UVC G2 camera zoom lens extender https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3983425 I decided to make a version for the UVC G3 camera. I used the same 9-22mm vari-focal lens as the last project. The lens has twist to zoom and twist to focus rings and operates similar to a DSLR camera lens.

I ran into the same problem as the lens sticks out further than the original cap. I created an extender ring that protects the inside of the camera by going over the lens but in place of the visor. This model can be modified to fit other lenses as well. You will lose access to the IR Emitters but at the distance it zooms, they don't seem to be seen anyway.
I didn't remove the IR emitter ring in this one because it has the microphone on it. I did have to remove the large set screw on the focus part of the lens and replace it with a shorter one so it doesn't bump the IR LEDs.
The lens extender is pressure fit and just pushes on. It holds well and I am very happy with the results of this setup. I spray painted it black and it looks pretty sharp!
