This is my design of an x-carriage. I was tired of trying to add cumbersome and oftentimes weak attachments to my existing x-carriage for the addition of fans, lights, or servos (for auto bed leveling). This design incorporates mounts for object cooling fans, hot-end cooling fan, lights, auto bed level servo, x-axis belt tensioner, DB9 solder cup connector (for quick connect of wiring to carriage)(I have now added a file for the main structure that voids the DB9 cutout and adds a relief for (2) 3x2 pin or (1) 4x3 pin header adapter to accommodate for extra wires for more components) the DB9 mounting holes now can be used to mount a wire support which is included , and a removable Twist fit top for easier fitting of your favorite quick fit attachments! With Twist Fit there is no need for any additional hardware such as bearings and bolts. This carriage was designed for longer hot-ends such as the Getech all metal hot-end seen in some of the pics. I also included a 20mm j-head extension which will allow use of the most recent short style hot-ends. I failed to include belt alignment spacers. They are now included!
