The XM134 popularly as the Minigun, could fire up to 4,000 rounds per minute without overheating. (Originally, the gun was specced at 6,000 rpm, but this was later lowered to 4,000.) The Minigun was mounted on OH-6 Cayuse and OH-58 Kiowa side pods, in the turret and wing pods on AH-1 Cobra attack helicopters, on door, pylon and pod mounts on UH-1 'Huey' Iroquois transport helicopters, and on many other helicopters and aircraft. This model replicates the sheer beauty of the XM134 Minigun. Generally, people assume the minigun as being 'A Single Gun' in a form, this peice of fine engineering is manufactured from lets say, 6 guns. The barrels, each roughly 20mm firing rounds, up to an astonishing 4000 Rounds Per Minute. This means that anything in its target range would be stripped to peices. The minigun is feared by many people, and used mainly by American forces, its impossible to hold in 2 hands and fire due to its sheer weight and intensity, however the minigun now has a portable version which can easily be mounted onto walls, floors, shelfs and doorframes with a 'Hook' form-table underneath the barrel, allowing for heavy-machine-gunners to up the firepower from the M60/PARA's to a more deadly weapon. Enjoy the Minigun my follow Sketchuppers! Feel free to ask any questions.
