This is my ultimate Filament Spool Holder ;-)
Remark: Only the Filament Spool Holder is my design. All other parts in the photographs are only for illustration and are not designed by me. But I don't remember the sources. If one feels that I should reference his/her design please let me know and I will be glad to add the reference.
I have tried many different solutions to hold my filament spools. All had some benefits and also disadvantages. So I designed this one myself. It is very strong, uses a 200 mm long M8 threaded rod, a M8 lock nut, two M6 screws and two M6 t-slot nuts to be attached to the t-slot of my Felix 3.1 printer. Since it has a flat mounting surface it can also be attached to many other printers/positions including a wall. Just use the relevant screws.
On the M8 rod there can be used many available adapters and attachments as can be seen on the other pictures which show some of my examples. These parts only need to have a inner diameter of 8mm (+) which also applies to often used 608 bearings.
For those who want to modify the holder, I have included the 123D Design 123dx file
Update 1: The blue holder part in pictures 5, 6 and 7 is from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2075777
Update 2: The "Quick change filament spool clips" could be used in combination with my design to change spools very fast (credits go to the origin designer):https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2470943
Update 3: Can be used with https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2565565/#comments to get a more or less universal spool holder.
