At Cambridge Makespace we have all our Ultimakers kitted out with these nifty lids which both keep smells and heat inside and also provide a place to mount the Raspberry Pi and webcam. The Pi needs a power supply and often people forget to reconnect the power if they take the lid off for maintenance of the printer. This power connector fixes that by using sprung contacts to supply the power to the lid.
The connector is designed to fit onto the Ultimaker using the screws already present on the printer and could be used to provide power to any accessories that mount on top of the printer.
