This is my second attempt at a soprano ukulele. It has a louder much fuller tone. This design can be printed on a minimum 5 x 8 printer platform without supports. I used PLA and the structure is very sturdy. The neck is connected to the body (lower hole) with 1/4-20 x 1-1/2 L (M6 x 35mm) socket head cap screws, washers, and nuts. The upper hole has a 1/4-20 x 3 L (M6 x 75mm) pan head screw for neck strength. The hole inserts included with my other ukulele will also work with this one. Pick one and snap it into the hole in the fretboard bottom. You will need to place the two pieces on a flat surface and smack them together for a snap fit. The ukulele fretboards and bottom flange are attached with #6 x 1/2 L (M3.5 x 12mm) flat head wood screws. The fretboard bottom and bottom flange are the structural pieces that hold the body halves together. There will be a tiny gap when the project is finished. You can fill it with epoxy if you want but it isn't necessary. The pegs are standard friction type pegs. The strings are fed through curved holes at the top of the fretboard and are twist wrapped. The bridge is loose and should be glued or adhered into the slot provided. This will keep it from shifting which may cause a snapping sound.when played. If you have a problem installing the 1/4-20 (M6) nuts & washers you can epoxy them in-line with the hole leaving the threads clear for the screws. Also the plastic will eventually relax under tension and lose tuning. You can speed this up by warming the ukulele slightly for a few minutes near a fireplace, cooling to room temp and re-tuning.

Added various Bridge heights to customize action (3 different heights included)
Modified Fretboard Bottom posts into a captive block for string tension
Eliminated frets 15 thru 18 since they didn't function properly
Lowered Fretboard Bottom top surface forward of the sound hole
Added a Large Hole insert with a skirt to increase sound output and cover body flaws.
This may be a bit difficult to install since the skirt protrudes inward
