UFS-032 External Pipe Size Gage - NPT by UncleFrankSays

This is my original design while being similar to other circle templates. The sizes listed are not the size of circles, but the outside diameter of galvanized/black pipe made to imperial NPT standard gage.
This was a tool of necessity. I was insulating pipes under my house. At first I measured a couple with calipers and used that to decided what size of insulation to buy the insulation. Then as I got further into the job, I sometimes found the inside of the insulation was either too small or large. I suddenly needed a quick way to check installed pipe.
Since I couldn't check the thread or inside dimension I created a gage to measure the outside. I could add a lot of extra sizes to my gage.
It was wonderful. I could check the pipe first and not waste time or material trying to install insulation that wouldn't fit.
