I am working on a two Blue Laser Diode beam combiner. It will be made of 6061 T6 Aluminum. This will use two Laser host modules with lens to hold the Diodes (top and front facing bored 12mm holes). Another partial module will be drilled out and used to hold the output lens at the bottom 12mm bored hole. These bores must be on the same plane and the same axis. The Diode lenses will be focused to infinity into the combining cube. Those cubes are wavelength specific and are 12.7mm square. that goes into the well in the side of the housing. The housing has been "heat sinked". There will be two 30mm X 10mm fans installed above each Laser module (not shown).
Height 57.5mm
width 33mm*
length 47.5mm
This design is for using two less expensive Laser Diodes rather than one more expensive diode. It also will add flexibility as one or both Lasers can be used depending on the job material or type.
This design is for the inexpensive "Benbox" style DIY Laser kits.
This is a work in progress.
Beam combiner5.stl is the new version with fan mounts added in. The heat sink fins on the horizontal Diode extension had to be turned 90deg. The fan would not fit on top.

Edited size of object. Increased cooling area. Dimensions changed 8/10/16
