== SUMMARY
Awesome modular organizer that store Twilight Imperium 4 and Prophecy of Kings in the core box, along with optional extras.
It prints fast with a 0.6mm nozzle.
This organizer supports most sleeves. It was designed around the Mayday Premium 125% thicker Red American Mini (7079) sleeves which are among the thickest and largest ones on the market for this card size. They are larger than the Fantasy Flight American Mini (Yellow) ones so those will fit fine as well. It should easily fit all non-premium sleeves.
Even with all manuals and compendiums, the box closes entirely.
== SOME ABBREVIATIONS I USED BELOW
CIF = Commodity/Trade Goods, Infantry and Fighter Tokens
Extra Tokens = All other tokens including Speaker, Custodian and Mirage
== FACTION BOXES
This organizer is designed around the 24 factions and more specifically, the American Mini-sized cards. There are two versions, one for factions with extra tokens (such as Titans of UL, the Nekro Virus, etc.) and one for factions without. Home planets are stored in the tile box as it is not very space efficient to store them along with these cards and tokens.
-- Option 1: Faction Box - Standard
This will store all tokens and cards for standard factions.
You will need to print 19 of these.
Fits Lid - Standard
-- Option 2: Faction Box - Extra Tokens
This will store all tokens and cards for factions with extra tokens.
You will need to print 5 of these (Cabal, Nekro, Ul, Naalu and Creuss).
Fits Lid - Standard or Lid - Faction Box - Extra Tokens (Pick whichever you prefer, both should work)
== FLEET BOXES
This organizer has two boxes for your fleets so that you can stack them in a single file or side by side depending on what is optimal for your playing space.
-- Fleet Box A
Designed to store all player cards, dreadnoughts, cruisers, destroyers, carriers and War Suns.
The War Suns do NOT need to be disassembled to fit.
Fits with Lid - Standard and the Card Holder
You need 8 of these.
-- Fleet Box B
You need 8 of these.
Designed to store all mechs, infantry, PDS, space docks, fighters and the flag ship.
Fits with Lid - Standard and the Card Holder
Has two slots for additional components (one of them big enough to hold a deck of American Mini cards, although you probably want to customize the box to have a hole at the bottom to push the cards out if you want to store another deck in there).
I use them to store DMay23's Token Holders (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2843152) but you can easily store 10 player color D10s here or additional miniatures.
== CARD HOLSTERS
The organizer uses holsters instead of boxes or trays for two reasons:
1) It saves so much space since you can squeeze the air out of your sleeves.
2) You need to shuffle those cards regardless so you are taken them out of your tray every game.
The come in two sizes, double and single.
-- Card Holster - Single
I use one for the level 1 and level 2 goals, and 1 for the secret goals
-- Card Holster - Double
The planets, agenda cards, exploration cards and action cards all get one each.
The agenda cards and planet cards ones carry additional action cards as well to accommodate for PoK and the Codex.
== TOKEN BOXES
You have some options here. Some take up more space than others and it is really a matter of personal preference.
-- Option 1: Token Box - Organized Design
Same size as the faction boxes
Use the organized token box lid.
5 of these along with one open design token box will hold all the tokens that came with the base game and PoK.
-- Option 2: Token Box - Open Design
Same size as the faction boxes
Fits with the standard lid
If you use the organized design for your tokens, you still need one of these for the extra tokens.
Untested but should be able to hold up to 48 small and 24 large CIF tokens depending on how organized you store them inside.
6 of these should store all your tokens.
-- Option 3: Token Box - Dice Tray Insert A, B and C
This is what I use. These boxes fit inside of the Dice Tray boxes (see below) and they store all the tokens in the base game and PoK. This design takes up 8 faction box-sized slots instead of 6, but I felt that having a second dice tray is worth it.
== LIDS
The organizer uses a simple friction based lid to hold everything in place.
They are entirely optional.
Lid - Standard
Works for the fleet boxes and the faction boxes
Lid - Token Box Organized Design
Works for the token box with the organized design
== TILE CARDS
I use 4 tile boxes for these. They also store the home planets.
-- Tile box
Not much to say about these.
Print 4.
== STRATEGY CARDS
There are two options.
-- Option 1: Strategy Cards Tray
If you are using the 6 token boxes, you have room to print a tray to store strategy cards.
If you have some custom planet tiles, this might be the best way to go.
-- Option 2: Strategy Cards and Dice Spacer
If you are using two dice tray boxes, you can use the room between the tiles to store the strategy cards, along with 24 D10s.
This is the version that I use since it is more space efficient, have no custom planet tiles and I prefer to have two Dice Trays.
== DICE TRAY BOX
This is a space efficient organizer so there is plenty of space left which is why I made this box. It is really just a large spacer box that can store anything. I decided to call them Dice Trays as I use them for rolling dice in while playing the game.
It can store many things, but here are some ideas:
The victory point tracker
All of the tokens that come with the base game and PoK
4-5 card holders (see below)
Enough frame fixators for 2-8P maps including alternate maps
9 unassembled Bits77 fleet stands
A lot of additional dice
Additional 3D printer components
In my copy of the game, I printed two of them and use them for the VP tracker, the tokens and the fixators mentioned above.
If you want the frame fixators, I use these three:
1 - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3005106
2 - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3945732
3 - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4679194
Print 1 and 2 six times. Then print 3 two times. Finally, print two more of the turning piece from 1.
All 16 pieces will fit in the dice tray when stacked correctly.
If you want to turn this box into a dice tray, you can add adhesive felt to its bottom and sides:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RYHDNC8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00
I provided a full size and a half size version to accommodate your 3D printer size. If you go with the half size, you need to print two and glue them together.
== CARD HOLDERS
Since TI4 takes up so much space, I decided to make some card holders that you can stand on the table but that also clip onto your fleet boxes. One of these can hold 7 sleeved action cards. You could also add 3 secret goals in them, but it becomes a really tight squeeze. However, since you have 2 fleet boxes, you could give each player 2 of them and then they have plenty of card holding space.
They work best on large round tables as you need to obscure your neighbor's vision from the cards.
Please note that I store these in my PoK box and not with the rest of the organizer. You could fit 4-5 of them in one of the dice trays, though.
