TO USE: Place the open end of the key on the decoder so that the peg protrudes along the groove in the side of the key. whichever peg allows the bottom of the key to sit flush on the decoder with the peg still reaching to the top of the groove in the key is the correct one. If looking towards the open end of the key, it should be decoded starting at the index pin (the bar along the side of the key tube) and moving clockwise.
this code can be used to cut a new key or can be written down and you can set a tubular lock pick to this code and create a functional key.
Almost all tubular keys use a shared pin depth standard and hence, there is no need for different types of decoders. This decoder should work with any tubular key.
