After printing some "Stage Inspired Spotlights" I went looking for a truss to hang them on.
This truss is drawn in Fusion 360 and is really a very simple "Visual" truss. it is not an exact model of any truss I have every used but it is a hybrid of triangle staging truss and Rohn antenna truss.
It was designed to be easily printed vertically with no infill or support. The outer tubes are 6.3mm, so roughly 1/4" diameter while the outer tubes are on 25mm centers.
The tubes are all hollow and sections can be joined with small (I used brass) tubes glued into the inside of the truss tube - if you trim about 10mm off of the ends, the join will be visually continuous. if you join them as printed, they will look more like antenna truss, where the web stops briefly at the joints between sections.
Again, these were designed specifically as a "visual truss" not a model of a specific truss and the angles were specifically to make it print easily (60 degree web)
This should be scalable as long as your nozzle and shell combination works out to fill the tube walls.
