The truncated octahedron is space filling. Blocks made from combinations of this polyhedron nest nicely together and form interesting structures. Five blocks are included here; the simplest is the basic truncated octahedron. Two blocks consist of pairs of polyhedra; one pair joined by square faces, the second by hexagonal faces. The fourth block is made of three truncated octahedra joined by hexagonal faces and the fifth block contains four polyhedra joined by square faces. OpenSCAD code is included.
