This is a bracket that lets you use the maker bot limit switch on the z axis. There are brackets out there but they are press fit and I hate them, this allows you to put the screws in the back (it has the holes for the countersink) and have it securely held. The original bolts should work or any other m2 bolts of the right length. If you have one of these on the back of the pcb the switches are through hole so there are spikes in the back. That's what the indent is for and the same thing for the connector is why it suddenly stops.
In theory should work with any 2020 extrusion printer.
It works well the only thing I would change is I would make the part that sticks forward to the other side to stop it from twisting thinner so that it can be mounted lower. I ended up sanding it slightly.
If you care about why:
The print quality in the picture is terrible because I was repairing the printer from being kicked around for over a year and kinda held it together with duct tape long enough to print replacement parts. Its good now, I may reprint later :)
So I shattered the original z limit bracket years ago when I bought the machine, it was missing the holes to countersink the screws and I made the mistake of trying to use a drill to make the countersink holes.
I broke 2 of the original limit switches and 2 of the cheap replacements(I still have like 20 of them). I got tired of the original limit switch and replacements breaking I am switching to the maker bot ones I bought a long time ago when I was going to build a bigger printer.
