After upgrading my Tronxy P802MA with a Mk10 extruder upgrade from AliExpress (found here https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32808614857.html) I added a MicroSwiss all metal hot end and throat.
Only problem was the heat soak so I needed to cool the fins more effectively. As the extruder set up already had a 40mm fan installed I came up with this shroud to move the fan down and allow more effective cooling of the all metal throat.
The shroud slides between the lower most fin and the second lower most (I figured it was better not to get directly along side the heat block) and is secured using a single M3 screw to one of the existing fan securing holes.
I used an M3 tap on the fan securing holes to help the two M3 screws hold well.
The difference after installation was amazing with an instant improvement in control allowing for less retraction and higher print speeds with no degradation in print quality.
