Replacement Pound coin for Shopping Trolley. My first design a very simple £ shaped object with a tongue to fit in the pound coin slot of a UK supermarket trolley.
The lip makes it easier to push in and pull out on cold days with cold fingers or gloves or if the user has a disability affecting their hands. I have tried this in a Morrisons trolley and it works perfectly. Not pretty but functional. Hope this is useful for someone.
The first thing I have designed and printed after getting my printer this week. The last time I used a CAD programme it was called a pen and paper at secondry school, as I learn FREECAD I think I will add a hole to put it on a key chain and an impression for the thumb on the tongue.
