This is a simple grid based Trivet.
A trivet is a kind of a mat. They are used to separate an object from the surface that they are resting upon. This is usually due to the object being hot (like a pot that's just come off the stove) however in this case, this scenario is not recommended. See last paragraph for disclaimer.
I designed this for the vege bin in my fridge. The bin always seemed to have a layer of scum in the bottom. I ascribed this to the moisture in the vegetables leaking out and gathering in the bottom. The vege bin is ribbed on the bottom but they're spaced too far apart.
The Trivet is designed to sit on top of the ribs thereby giving a little drainage space beneath it. Its sized to be a comfortable fit within my printer but also so that three of them can cover the base of the vege bin.
I DO NOT recommend using this beneath items that are hot such as pots or bakeware. If you choose to do this, you do so at your own risk.
