In the center of every joint you find a round shape with a line(s) in the middle, some are yellow so they can be easier to find but not all of them are yellow. Some only rotate in 2 directions like the forearms. While in other joints they can be rotated in 6 different directions basically 360 degrees in any direction like the arms. But obviously some parts can only be rotated so much until it looks weird.
