This mount is intended to connect to the standard suction mount the dashcam comes with, and to the camera itself. The purpose of the mount is to move the camera upwards to allow the user to hide it more effectively, for instance behind the rearview mirror of the car.

Updated the design
The first design was made to allow the camera and mount to slide in easily but this caused excess vibrations, the current design has much tighter tolerances to mitigate vibrations. This makes attaching and detaching the mount more difficult but makes it more secure and with fewer vibrations.
