This thing is intended to make a scale model of a crossing road and simulate the cycles of all traffic lights with a MPU like Arduino/Genuino.
All pieces are fitted with a simple pressure. No glue is needed. The leds are inserted in the front cover by pushing them with a screwdriver.
Once inserted the leds you have to solder their wires with soldering tin. The resistors have to be solded either to the cathode of led or either to the anode in a serial connection. Optionally, you can make a common cathodic connection with a single resistor because only one led lights at a time.
The wires can exit either through the base to ground or either through the rear post hole.
To remove the rear cover there is a rectangular hole to insert a plain screwdriver.
The octogonal shape of the pole allows to put the light case in eight possible angles without remove the base and pole.
The base has four 3mm holes, to place four M3 screws, that are placed in the vertex of a 1/2" square (12,7 mm).
