This project is a tracked robot chassis to carry a ZEB1 Lidar scanner (see http://www.beckengineering.com.au/?page_id=2441). The rover comprises a lighter weight but heavier duty chassis, motors, motor mounts, drive wheel and suspension for the tracks and swing arms off the Dagu T'Rex and a mounting arm, including oscillating mount for the ZEB1.
You can see a movie of it with ZEB1 mounted, scanning a house here:

The replacement chassis accommodates upgraded motors. The drive sprocket and gear boxes are replaced and helper springs increase the cargo capacity. The sprocket has also been re-sized to properly engage with the tracks and is sized to fit a popular and available 12V metal gear motor. The design allows small adjustments to the alignment of the motors to achieve better tracking.
Using a 5000mAh LiPo battery, it will run for 30mins to 45mins.
