This is for a young redfoot tortoise. The dimensions are 48 long, 18 wide, 18 tall. It's divided into two sections: on the left it's the closed space, with a light fixture containing a heat emitter so the tortoise can feel comfortable and retreat in here to rest. The curved top would be attached by using door hinges so it can open and close when needed. The other space is an open area where the tortoise can excercise and eat some of the delicious edible landscaping (hibiscus and oat grass, supposedly), drink water, and soak up the rays of sun. It has a mesh top to protect from predators. The front is made of pexiglass (1/2' thick) to enable viewing and the rest of the sides are of cherry wood.
