Results (without the bearing)
Resulting mass: 304.79 g.
Mass reduction: 64.52% (2.82 times).
Results (with the bearing included)
Resulting mass: 314.10 g.
Mass reduction: 63.83% (2.76 times).
The structural integrity of the component is verified by FE analysis.
Printing direction is chosen in such a way that the amount of support material is quite low. The support structures are easy-to-remove and do not require much milling or manual work.
