A modular toolbox that assembles via 3d printed threads. The "tool-deck" has eight female threads. You can print out eight "amphora" shaped containers each with male threads which interlock into the tool-deck. My prior toolbox required the printing of a very large box-shell and lid which then in turn accommodated similar sized push in containers. The idea of this box was to do away with having to print a large shell, and to facilitate assembly. The amphoras have a bit more wall thickness than I would usually use.
All parts are printed without support; the threads therefore are printed with overhang.
The print deck is 280mm in diameter and occupies the entire print width of the Seemecnc Artemis.
The threads are sized M55X4 6h Right Hand. The threads have been push-pulled .2mm to provide more tolerance.
