upgrade my remote controlled tomato pickerhttps://www.youtube.com/user/rectsys/videos
with the addition of a pixy camera. now the machine can do the work on its own without remotely controlled by a human. the original telescopic arm/picker is not yet transferred to the new mount yet, but it will be driven by the stepper on the top of the mount. will design and print new arm/picker soon. it will be telescopic too, or something that will fold and extend out with the picker on the far end. the picker(the mechanical hand that will hold and picker the fruit) will be passive, that is, with touch sensor control, the stepper will not calculate the distance.
3 mena 41mm stepper are used on the pixy mount, and 76mm steppers on the frame to move the pixy mount.
the mount uses plastic BB balls between x and y.
