Tipi - Top enclosure for 3d printer - Two trees sapphire ( Sapphire S3 Black - enclosure version )
Example was printed with ASA filament, using 1.0mm nozzle - for fast prototyping.
330X330 or bigger - recommended print surface!
Update:
01 11 2019 I complete the print, however the parts are barely fit on the print plate (TRONXY 330X330), and this facilitate that build up tension to ripoff the print surface from the support; therefore in order to avoid that...I strongly recommend to print direct on glass, or on a bigger print plate!
Unfortunately I do not have a bigger printer, or at least a glass 330X330... to test my theories, If anyone printing this and want to share the experience with the rest of us... please do not be shy!
29 10 2019 New design Tipi 5. I design a stronger base for the tipi, and I hope it will be able to "take" the build up pressure. Comes in two versions - 1 and 2mm.
I strongly recommend using a printer with an enclosure!
29 10 2019 Unfortunately the second trial fail also - Tipi 3. I ensure I have a good adhesion for the 1st layer, however the build up tension start to rip off (unglue) the printing surface (buildtak like) from the support.
29 10 2019 See first failure of the Tipi 2 print, a lot of tension due to the design, if I will not be able to print the part due to warping... part design will be modified!
However I think is just the poor quality of my print surface!
28 10 2019 Change base file
Strongly recommend using filament with a high melting point as ABS or ASA, since temperature can exceed 70 Celsius!
Main body have the Build Plate Adhesion - build inn - required to be removed after! Ensure the adhesion of first layer is good, recommend also using a BRIM.
Base part - require support!
Design to print without support... mostly :) by Costa
