It is a model of a crystal lattice of titanium dioxide with an anatase structure (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatase). It is modeled taking into account all angles, ionic radiuses and interatomic distances taken from the Springer Materials database (https://materials.springer.com/isp/crystallographic/docs/sd_1925693).
It consists of titanium atoms (larger balls), oxygen atoms (smaller balls) and chemical bonds between them (rods). Nodes for neodymium magnets are planned in atoms: cylindrical 5x5 in titanium atoms and 3x5 in oxygen atoms. Accordingly, in the links, small channels for 5 mm of scraps of thick (3 mm in diameter) iron wire or rod 5 mm deep.
However, the entire model is fairly stable and without magnets, solely on friction. You can also use CA glue to fixed it once and for all.
My cheap printer has some problems with printing balls, so I used self-made support. Present models of atoms and bonds with and without support.
