I wonder if any of you was just as confused as I about licenses and how to find them.
Well here have a list with the imbedded links thingiverse gives to each license or the ones I found:
Creative Commons - Attribution:https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
The standard selected license, you can share and do remixes and the like, if you give proper credit.
Creative Commons - Share alike:https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/
You can share and do remixes, if you give proper credit and the remixed part has to have the same license.
Creative Commons - No Derivatives:https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/4.0/?ref=ccsearch&atype=rich
You can share the part with proper credit. Remixed parts are not allowed to be shared.
Creative Commons - Non Commercial:https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/
You can share and do remixes, if you give credit and if its not for commercial use.
Creative Commons - Non Commercial - Share alike:https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/?ref=ccsearch&atype=rich
You can share and remix the parts with proper credit and the same license as the original for non commercial use.
Creative Commons - Non Commercial - No Derivatives:https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/
You can share the part with proper credit for non commercial use. Remixed parts are not allowed to be shared.
Creative Commons - Public Domain Dedication:https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/mark/1.0/?ref=ccsearch&atype=rich
Basically no copyright excistend.
GNU - GPL:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_General_Public_License
I think it is "Creative Commons - Public Domain Dedication", but proper credit has to be given and changes have to be marked
GNU - LGPL:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_Lesser_General_Public_License
I think it is "Creative Commons - Public Domain Dedication", but proper credit has to be given and changes dont have to be marked so strictly, but free use can only be given freely for those changes.
BSD License:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BSD_licenses
The one with the most freedom, even the need for credit gets lost, but the license must be given on.
