The New Thessaloniki Town Hall Building, which was designed by the architect D. Biris, has been constructed on the 14,588 m2 site of former army buildings, providing 4,762 m2 coverage over a total built-up area of 271,000 m2 and with a maximum height of 17 m. The building incorporates modern audiovisual systems and a Conference Centre. The car park is spread over a lower ground level and three underground levels accommodating a total of 870 cars.
