Goal:
-To create the most accurate replication of the White House.
-I chose to replicate the White House because it wanted to design something relevant to people around the world. At first I was going to do the Roman Coliseum, except I scratched that and chose to do this instead. Due to my close proximity to D.C I hope to visit the monuments sometime, especially since it is the summer and I live under a rock!
Notes:
1)The Blender file attached is NOT printable! It is to provide the ability to edit the original file if they please.
2)If there is anything you want me to correct then you can either leave a comment or shoot me a private message.
3)The scale of the blender file is 1:1, meaning it is in feet.
4)A description of every file is listed under "Instructions"
5)The first image is of three main bodies with the lego set in the background
6)The doorways are hollowed out so you can actually see into other rooms through the rooms.
History:
In 1791, George Washington chose the site for the White House in the now District of Columbia. As the foundations of the WHite House were laid, a little competition between various architects occurred to decide the final design of White House. The construction of the White House continued until the year of 1812. During the war of 1812, the British set fire to the White house in 1814. The destruction of the White House led to various openings to its improvement. Over the years the south and north porticos were added. In 1902 President Theodore Roosevelt initiated a renovation of the whole building. This initiation involved the relocation of the presidential offices into the newly erected West Wing.
The White House is the main building the president resides in. It is on these grounds where many dignitaries/leaders have met. The White House is located at the capital of the United States of America (Which is Washington D.C).
Update 8/8/2015
I printed the WHRoof using the same settings of the two other peices in ABS. I uploaded four pictures displaying all three layers. The main picture is of all three layers with the lego set in the background. Like I said before, the print quality is subpar. That is probably due to problems i am having with the Solidoodle 3.Update 8/7/2015:
I printed have printed the WHInternalFirst using the same settings as the second floor, except in ABS. In the picture with both of the stories, you can see that the second floor doesn't have any windows. I have fixed that error and reuploaded the file. Also, excuse the poor print quality for the first floor. Its my printer, not the model.Update 8/6/2015:
I uploaded the second floor interior image. It was printed at .2mm with 8% infil, rectilinear, in HIPS. I loaded it into repetier host as millimeters, then scaled it twice.
I also uploaded another file named "WHinternalSecondV2." the difference is that I removed some of the closets that werent being printed well.Update 8/5/2015:
Firstly, since people have been asking, I was regularly updating the file but I didn't leave a message. The file I uploaded today is printable. There are two parts, you can either choose the interior or the exterior. The difference is that the exterior is only the outer shell of the building. The interior is a recreation of the interior of the White House using https://goo.gl/LhRtP0. None of the pieces need support. I will start printing them tomorrow.Update 7/17/2015:
I haven't updated the file in a long time since I forgot(Whoops). Better late then never right? I've made extensive progress with the file. I've finished the exterior of the White House(If anything's wrong, please tell me.) and I'm now beginning on the interior of the first floor.

Remarks
Regardless of whomever wins the challenge, it was a lot of fun participating. It felt good having deadlines and having to do something that I found fun. Won't lie, I had fun writing all of the text on this page, and even more fun designing.
