Originally called 'The Towers'. Built for local industrialist R.A. Lister 1891-94 by Trew. It is a large red brick Edwardian house, on the hill and approached from Drake Lane. It has a tower topped by a belvedere visible from most parts of town. This fine building has now been altered and renovated and is a prestigious new retirement home called 'Woodlands', located in the newly created 'Littlecombe Park' area of Dursley. The beautifully restored Edwardian building contains seven apartments and is just one part of a large development of retirement homes on the site. #building #Dursley #Littlecombe #Towers #Woodlands
