This grinder was designed and made for a couple of reasons:
I had just received my first purchase of m3 threaded inserts and wanted to give them a try.
The herb that I just received was quite damp and did not play well with the toothless grinders that I had.
Things of note
If you do not wish to use m3 threaded inserts I have included copies of the files that do not require them.
If you have created http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2138128 you will already have a compatible Tray and Housing. I will try to continue this trend with future designs.
Requirements and Options
Required Parts
There are several combinations of parts that can be used to construct this grinder - Threaded, No Threads, m3x10 or m3x25. At minimum you must have the parts required for the Basic Config.
Maximum Overkill Config
15 x m3x25 screws
14 x m3x10 screws
29 x m3 threaded inserts (H x OD: 3mm x 5mm)
Basic Config
29 x m3x10 screws
You will need to print a Top, Grinding Plate, Housing and Tray. Their individual options will require the following parts to complete.
Top
15 lots of m3x10 or m3x25 screws
Threaded or No Threads
Grinding Plate
14 lots of m3x10 screws
Threaded or No Threads
Housing
Rifled, Knurled or Plain. These options are purely aesthetic but they will affect print time.
Tray
No options.
