Project Summary
The purpose of this design was to be very functional. You can see that there is a area for two AAA batteries (a common issue me and my friends had is during a test we'd run out of power and be in a panic to find a battery replacement), multiple pencils, a USB/charging cable management system, a magnetic tray area (must be purchased from eBay, but it's the standard size up to 7 x 5 cm), and a tray for multiple items to be held. (1) A issue I came across was how I would place the holder into the table, so what I did was create 4 holes for the M2 standoffs to be held and using a bolt they'd be able to secure the design to a desk. (2) If I could have redesign the project I think that I would create a better method of securing the design to a table, but I think that in terms of functionality it meets what I was looking for. (3) I believe that using 3D printing I could understand how the design would hold up and how functional it actually is because my two main priorities is size and functionality.
