My family and I really enjoyed "The Button" on BBC One this spring and we wanted a way to play the game at home so I decided to try and make a working model of the button from the show. It is made from a combination of 3D printed parts, a laser-cut plywood case, a vacuum formed light up button dome and a raspberry pi to provide the smarts.
This version of the design is smaller and cheaper to make than the original as it uses your TV to display the challenges rather than an in-built screen.
