This image depicts Avalokiteshvara seated in the position of royal ease, the right hand resting on a bent knee and the left in the gift-granting gesture. He is dressed as an Indian prince in a long, fluidly carved garment. His chest is crisscrossed with sashes, scarves and delicately rendered jewels. Unlike most other representations of Avalokiteshvara, this figure does not wear an image of his spiritual father, the buddha Amitabha, in its crown.
Scan was made with Autodesk 123D Catch on the iPhone, and cleaned up using 123D Catch Online.
