Texaco Havoline Tugboat

Another classic American tug: Texaco's "Havoline". Launched in 1946 at Gulfport Boiler & Welding, Havoline was based on a design used for a number of Navy YTB tugs in WW2, also built at Gulfport. Havoline worked tankers at Texaco's facilities in Port Arthur Texas. She's 100 feet on deck and 24 feet of beam- a nice sized R/C tug in 1:32, I'd think. At this time I'm only doing the 3D CAD model (not printable as is), with 2D drawings.

As Havoline's original drawings have not been located, I have based the design on YTB drawings from the same yard. This same design was used after the war for a number of civilian tugs. Minor corrections are made based on the available photos of Havoline.
